I most enjoy drawing and writing for children and those who are young at heart.

I like images that not only accompany stories but also deepen them emotionally.

My work is characterized by empathy, meticulous craftsmanship, and close collaboration with authors, editors, and publishers.

Good children's and young adult literature aims not only to stimulate the imagination through text and images, but also to touch the heart directly.

Every year on June 8th, the United Nations ask us to pause — and look closer.
The 2026 theme: “Reimagine.”
Rethink. Reconnect. Act differently.

🌊 What the oceans do for us
The world’s oceans cover more than 70% of Earth’s surface. They regulate the climate, produce more than half the oxygen we breathe, and feed billions of people.
They absorb around 90% of the excess heat generated by climate change. Without the oceans, our planet would already be uninhabitable.

🌊 The reality - facts:
The Mediterranean is a particular hotspot: since 1980, surface water temperatures there have risen by 1.4 °C — more than twice the global average.
84% of all coral reef areas worldwide are affected by the most intense and widespread coral bleaching ever recorded.
Every year, around 11 million tonnes of plastic enter the oceans. By 2050, that figure could triple if no decisive action is taken.

🌊On January 17, 2026, the UN High Seas Treaty (BBNJ Agreement) entered into force — after more than 20 years of negotiations. For the first time, a legally binding international framework now exists to protect biodiversity beyond national jurisdiction.
One step. An important one.

🌊Since 2015, not a single one of the ten UN sub-targets for ocean protection has been met.
“Reimagine” doesn’t mean daydreaming — it means rethinking, right now.
